Soffit Soft Washing in Berea, SC
When a homeowner in the Berea area of Greenville, South Carolina, embarked on a full exterior home renovation, heavy organic growth on the eaves and soffits threatened to stall progress. Years of moisture accumulation had led to severe mold, mildew, and algae buildup on compromised surfaces where the paint had already failed.
The Challenge: Delicate Cleaning on Compromised Surfaces
Because the wooden and painted surfaces were already deteriorated, standard pressure washing was out of the question. High pressure would have stripped failing paint prematurely, gouged the wood, and created costly structural damage right before carpentry and renovation work.
Our Solution: Safe, Low-Pressure Soft Washing
Foothills Soft Wash stepped in to execute a specialized soft washing treatment. By utilizing a custom, controlled blend of eco-friendly surfactants and low-pressure application, we safely neutralized and eliminated 100% of the organic root systems at the cellular level—without harming the surrounding structure.
Targeted Mold & Algae Removal: Eradicated unsightly black streaks, green algae, and mildew from delicate overhangs.
Renovation-Ready Surfaces: Cleared away organic buildup so contractors could safely proceed with carpentry repairs, eave replacements, and fresh painting.
Property Protection: Safeguarded existing siding, landscaping, and delicate architectural details throughout the process.
